A Woman’s Heart….God’s Dwelling Place

Women’s Hearts….a ministry within the body of Christ Center Community Church. Women, young and old, called and chosen, we are God’s beloved daughters.

As women, we are standing in humility, as honest as we can be with our weaknesses, and dependent on His grace as we come boldly before the throne of God. Willingly we are linking arms together in unity and trust as we journey forward with reverential fear and great expectation of the complete work He’s doing in us as daughters, mothers, grandmothers, sisters, wives, and friends.

To provide a loving oasis in a relational desert and a safe place to build relationships, we desire to create connections through fellowship, prayer, honor and support. To satisfy our hunger for God’s word, and an ardent desire to know Him deeper, we meet weekly and monthly depending on the study to strengthen our walk, relationships and service to Christ the King.

Women's Bible Study Begins February 1st

Anonymous...Jesus' hidden years...and yours.  Recognize the riches in the uncelebrated seasons of your life by Alicia Britt Chole.

Creative Connections:

When you were a teenager did you ever dream and plan about what you would be when you left high school? Did your dreams come to pass or did God take you on a different path than what you had all planned out? Saturday, August 13, 2011 we discussed what happens when God takes our best laid plans and molds them into His will. Donna Weyer led the book discussion on "The Blue Bottle Club" by Penelope Stokes.

This novel portrays the lives of four women, who as teenagers, wrote down their dreams in 1929 and placed their writings in a blue bottle to be opened later. Their stories and the story of the news reporter who eventually finds the bottle are heartwarming and full of God's graciousness.  A morning brunch prior to discussion was hosted by Sue Coseo as the first book club discussion for the women's ministry at Christ Center. Our church library has a copy of the book if you want to read it.
